Interests and Specialties:
European firearms, German Drillings, combination firearms "double rifles, S/S or over / under. Studying Action Systems: Anson & Deeley, Blitz, Westley Richards Drop Lock, H&H Side Lock & Ejector Systems. Paul Mauser Oberndorf, Mannlicher Schoenauer
Prewar optic mounting systems: Claw-mounts, H&H mounting systems, Jos. Springer, AKAH mounts & side mounts.
Post war mounting systems: Recknagel, Akah
Restoration of pre-war rifle scopes: Zeiss, Hensoldt, Ajax, Voigtlander, ect.
Opened first business 1977, Sierra Shooters Supply, in Reno NV - offered stocking and general gunsmithing along with general sales.
Created L&L Enterprises/Le Armes, Inc. 1988 - 2009 - provided service to one of England's Best Co. here in the US, furnished prewar original claw-mount systems for hi-grade firearms plus full restoration, re-regulated double rifles S/S or O/U systems.
Had the distinct honor of meeting Mr. George Neary and Mr. Paul Roberts, who greatly influenced me in my lifelong quest for knowledge and application of traditional methods of restoring and repairing Fine Firearms.
Closed L&L Enterprises/Le Armes, Inc. 2009 and took the Sales Manger position for J.P. Sauer & Sohns and Mauser for Blaser USA located in San Antonio, TX.
Left Blaser Group in 2013 to return to private practice and was offered the position for John Rigby & Co., again, by the Blaser Group that same year.
